Achieving Best Outcomes: Combining Early Intervention
and Ergonomics

Wednesday, November 8, 2017 | 2 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. PT
Duration: 60 minutes

In some ways, our industry parallels today’s two-party political climate. Some ergonomists look down at therapists, believing ergonomic training, analysis and solution development is the only right answer. Conversely, some therapists see ergonomists as insensitive to workers in need, believing addressing pain and discomfort is the only humane answer. As a result, each group pushes their own agenda, often minimizing what the other offers. Discover how an effective and compliant early intervention program, coupled with an on-site workplace visit to analyze ergonomic risk, can aid in developing solutions to avoid further aggravating the employee’s condition and reduce overall injury risk.

Webinar Takeaways:

  • Identify the requirements for an OSHA compliant early intervention program

  • Learn how to move seamlessly from ergonomic risk analysis to solution implementation

  • Discuss how combining the approaches of therapists and ergonomists impacts employers
