ErgoExpo Webinars

Adaptive Ergonomics for the Modern Workplace

July 11, 2018 | 2 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. PT
Duration: 60 minutes

As the modern workplace continues to evolve, the very nature of our work is changing. In order to keep up with technology and the needs of today’s workforce, our approach to how we design tools and spaces must also adapt. Unfortunately, the manner in which some organizations apply ergonomics to the office workplace is often outdated. They are applying guidelines and design teams which were intended to affect tasks and workplaces that are no longer the norm. This webinar will explore those gaps and discuss the most up-to-date tools and techniques to ensure that the physical needs of the modern workforce are being met. Attendees will learn how to increase the likelihood that their employees use sit/stand devices and why “sitting up straight” is not the ideal position, along with important information on lighting and open plan offices.

Webinar Takeaways

  • Identify the healthiest seating options for today’s workforce.

  • Properly use sit/stand solutions and promote a healthier, more comfortable workspace.

  • Ensure your open space plan provides a positive environment for the workforce

Attend and earn a Certificate of Completion you can use to apply for CEUs with BCSP directly or CoC points with BCPE directly.
